Tree Trunk Damage” refers to any physical injury to a tree’s main stem or bark, which can be caused by various factors like mechanical injury (lawnmowers, vehicles), pests (borers), diseases (cankers), or environmental stress (sunscald, frost cracks). Such damage compromises the tree’s vascular system, making it vulnerable to decay and infestation.
